2019 Mass Games Confirmed!
Oh the anticipation! After much debate and rumor about when, or indeed if the Mass Games would be returning in 2019, we are extremely happy to announce that Glorious Fatherland, will be returning, although under our current understanding it will be titled “Peoples Country”.
Here’s our FAQ on seeing the best spectacle on earth, the Mass games in 2019!
When will the 2019 Mass Games start?
The first mass games performance will be at the end of June! For full list of Mass Games tours check out this link.
When will the 2019 Glorious Fatherland/People’s Country finish?
They are scheduled to finish in mid-October, but we are hopeful, as in other years that this gets extended later, maybe even until November. Although November in the May Day Stadium might get a bit nippy!
How much will tickets to see the Mass Games, Peoples Country cost?
Cost of entrance to the May Day Stadium to see the mass games depends on which class of ticket you buy, but 3rd class costs 100 Euro, 200 2nd class, 500 1st class, and whopping 1000 for VIP. Feel free to contact us to learn about the differences in each class.
Will the Mass Games 2019 be different to the 2018 Mass Games?
It is hard to say, although the change in name from Glorious Fatherland to People’s Country is indicative to there being a change. Generally speaking from our experience of Arirang, every year is always a little bit different, although still quite similar!
Will there be as Mass Games in North Korea in 2020?
Hold your horses! It is very much too early, and far too hard to say. If I were to go with my instinct I would say yes, but the only way to guarantee seeing it, would be to visit this year.
Is the Mass Games the greatest show on earth?
Yes! See you in Pyongyang!
